Our History
The Centro Cultural Creasur was born in 2007 as a legal entity established in the city of Concepción, Chile. It focuses on the integration of different artistic and cultural disciplines, as well as on training and research. He has also participated in the organisation of art and culture festivals in different cities such as Sao Paulo, Lima, Rosario, Santiago, Concepción and Tijuana, demonstrating his commitment to the promotion and dissemination of culture on a national and international level.
In addition to its programme of activities and academic work, Creasur aims to promote and disseminate cultural and social development programmes. To this end, it has participated in a series of calls for proposals and meetings that allow it to publicise its work, share its vision with a wider audience and bring benefits to communities.
The Creasur Cultural Centre is part of Nudisur, a collaborative academic network that focuses on disseminating and publishing information on culture, art and heritage. In this way, joint initiatives can be developed from a decolonial and pluralist perspective. The aim is to influence public policies that value cultural and industrial heritage through research projects and collaboration with organisations and community members.
